"Stunning cottage rental! One of the best I’ve ever had. The cottage is lovely and functional for families (laundry, dishwasher, etc). The property is gorgeous and the docks can’t be beat. The water is shallow but calm and warm. Great for teaching kids how to swim. Would love to stay again :)"

Morning Mist is everything it promises – immaculate, well-equipped, spacious yet cozy, with every detail thought of. This beautiful property is situated at the end of a cottage road with complete privacy, in a beautiful location directly on the lakefront. It is a magical spot. We visited in November 2021 and enjoyed the cool sunny weather, canoes, outdoor fireplace for roasting marshmallows and charming indoor space. The highlight was several hours spent in the sauna, heating up and then running down to jump in the lake and cool off! We had great communication with Pauline and would love to return to this amazing cottage experience. Five Stars all the way!

A Moment of Serenity

“The first morning that I stayed at the cottage I found myself sipping a cup of coffee on the front porch, gazing out over the lake. The water perfectly mirrored the sky, and the air smelled of the pine forest. It was one of the most profound ways I've ever started a day. My family lives all over, so we decided to pick a place for a family get together. The cottage was perfect and Pauline has done an amazing job! Throughout our time there, my siblings would look around and with a big smile say "think place is amazing". Thanks again to Pauline for the use of the cottage and we all can't wait to come back!”

What you see is what you get !!!

"The photos and description of the property is right on point. Nothing was exaggerated to get you interested in booking the property. Everything you see is included. We used the fire pits outside and we also had a fire one night in the indoor house fireplace. We used the kayak and canoes every day. As a matter of fact, a beaver lives just around the corner of the bunk house. My adult son went kayaking the first morning after arriving and a beaver came close to him and flapped his tail. Every morning after that we saw the beaver eating his breakfast about 7 a.m. just in front of the bunk house. We have beautiful photos and videos of the little fella. The property is so peaceful and Pauline has decorated the deck with her flower pots and it is such a welcoming feeling. The place is fantastic for kids of all ages. We had our 2 adult children with us as well as 3 of our teenage grandchildren. Each and every one of us enjoyed our stay. We actually met the owner Pauline and 2 of her twin grandsons the day we arrived. Our stay was totally awesome and if we are fortunate to come to Nova Scotia again, I most definitely would ask Pauline to let us stay there again. Thanks for the wonderful home you shared with us."
