The guests who visited my beautiful five star property on VRBO as a premiere host paid for a full week through this platform and received a huge discounts for their seven-night stay. 
They were a couple, one child and a pet they didn’t pay for. Another couple was to share the cost and backed out of the holiday with this couple at the last minute and I am not surprised.
They were highly reactive, fabricated and lied when they wrote me two weeks after they left Morning Mist Cottage wanting to gain some of their money back. I suspect they were trying to get some money from the couple who was supposed to share the cost and when they may have refused to pay as they didn’t come to Morning Mist this couple thought they try something with me.
They didn’t know that VRBO has a vacationer pay a large service fee and
also submits the tax. When I showed them the break down that wasn’t enough. The female partner wanted more and her conversation with me  was abusive.
In 25 years I have only had one other family who booked and found it was over-budget…They too were dishonest about  the number of guests and wanted their money back at the last minute. VRBO has supported me the owner, twice hands down.
This couple had to look for something to criticize as there is so little to find. A new 10,000.00 main bathroom is to be completed this fall among another 101 creative plans one of which includes a beautiful Arctic salt water spa, the best in Canada and the best in the word for cold climates. Morning Mist is always planning for the very best for my guests who all say the same thing. It is so much better than the photos which show very well. I have come to learn you can build a beautiful property and it only takes one bad apple to leave a bad and dishonest review. Sad but true. People will harm in an instant. Those that value what I offer rave about the cozy beautiful decor. They love it and that is what I focus on.
